Cheryl Lee Schnepp, 61, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Friday, April 5, 2024. Born on April 23, 1962, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, to Dennis and Shirley Munson, Cheryl's life was full of strength and resilience.
A 1980 graduate of Barnesville High School. On January 11, 1997, she married Terry Schnepp and made their home in Cornelius, Oregon. Cheryl dedicated 17 years to the Hillsboro, Oregon School District as a beloved bus driver. Cheryl was a devoted aunt and found joy in the company of friends and family. Cheryl loved to laugh and enjoyed crabbing, fishing, and landscaping.
Cheryl leaves behind a loving family: her husband, Terry Schnepp; father, Dennis Munson (married to Bonnie); stepsons, Tim and Troy Schnepp; son, Trevis Munson; grandson, Matthew Sahlfeld; sisters, Jeanette Selseth (married to Larry, with daughters Cheri and Andrea and son Justin), Deb Bolgrean (married to Gary, with daughters Alissa and Kari) and her cherished canine, Chops.
Predeceased by her father-in-law, William Schnepp, stepdaughter, Tonya Schnepp, and her mother, Shirley Munson.
Cheryl’s light will forever shine in the hearts of those who cherished her.
Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating her life on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 1:00 p.m., at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN.
