Cheryl Johnson Watts

We knew Cheryl somewhat casually as a friend and neighbor, always a pleasant person to run into in the neighborhood. But from reading her story and the comments of others, we´ve learned a fuller picture of what a remarkable person she was - brilliant, accomplished, caring, and selfless. Mike, we´re so sorry for your loss and know this is a difficult time, best wishes for you and other family members to find peace after some appropriate time and some comfort in wonderful memories.

Mr. Watts was a very kind man to me all throughout my time in executive up until I walked across the stage. My deepest condolences, as I met Miss Cheryl myself and she was a stunning soul. <\3

I was so sad to hear the news of Cheryl's passing. She was a steady guide in her role as an ASD board member. I always enjoyed our conversations and her perspectives. Cheryl was 100% authentic and passionate about young people. Her legacy lives on through those of us she influenced. Blessings and love to all who love her.

Cheryl Watts Johnson will be missed for her gentle pride and fierce sense of what is right. I knew her as a classmate at Princeton University, and she was a vibrant and involved member of the class of 1985, helping reach members who might not attend reunions and raising important issues of inclusion. She always had interesting stories to share. I am proud to have known her especially in recent years. Bless you, Cheryl, may you be greeted in spirit with the honor you accorded others in life.
