In Loving Memory of Cheryl Wiley

July 4, 1959 – October 31, 2025

Cheryl Wiley passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025 - her favorite holiday, Halloween - at her home in Blackwood, NJ. Born on July 4, 1959, in Philadelphia, PA, Cheryl's life was a testament to love, family, and the joy found in life's simple moments.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Corney and grew up surrounded by warmth and laughter alongside her sisters, Mary Grace (John) and Debbie Galeota (the late Rich). Cheryl will forever be remembered by them as a guiding light throughout their lives.

Cheryl built a beautiful life with her devoted husband, Lindsay Wiley. Together, they raised two loving children - Tiffanie Holmes (William) and Brett Wiley (Ashley) - who will continue to carry forward her strength, warmth, and humor. Her grandchildren, Sophia, AJ, Georgie, Avery, and Bennett, were her greatest joy and the true lights of her world.

For over 25 years, Cheryl served her community as a receptionist at Winslow Animal Hospital, retiring on her birthday, July 4, 2024. Previously, she worked at Clementon Animal Hospital, where her compassion for animals and people alike made her a beloved member of every team she joined. Her kindness and gentle spirit touched countless lives.

Cheryl found her greatest peace at her family's summer home at Benny's Landing, where she loved fishing, crabbing, and boating. She had a deep appreciation for the water, for nature, and for good food - especially seafood. Her favorite spot, Oyster Creek Restaurant, became a cherished place for laughter and celebration with loved ones.

Her love for her dogs and her nurturing heart reflected the generosity that defined her. Cheryl's warmth, laughter, and care made every day brighter for those around her. It was fitting that she passed on Halloween - a day she always embraced with joy, creativity, and her trademark sense of fun.

She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, sisters, and sister-in-law Audrey Wiley (Tom Wolfe). Cheryl's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, laughter, and selflessness - one that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Earle Funeral Home (122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ) from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life immediately afterward.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory would be appreciated to Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center at www.homewardboundnj.org
