It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheryl L. Yeager, age 68, of Troy, Texas, on November 19, 2025. Born on October 23, 1957, Cheryl was a vibrant soul who filled the lives of those around her with love, laughter, and a remarkable work ethic.
Cheryl was a devoted wife to her husband, Paul Yeager, with whom she shared a deep bond and a joy for life. Together, they created a loving home filled with shared passions, including Cheryl's love for Korean soap operas and her talent for shopping. A self-described workaholic, she poured her heart into everything she did, including her volunteer work with Visiting Angels, where she found immense joy in helping others.
Cheryl had a special place in her heart for collecting crosses and angels, treasures that reflected her kind and gentle spirit. She also cherished her fur babies, Cooper and Piper, who were her constant companions and sources of unconditional love.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Reed and Fay Whatley, her stepmother Annette Whatley, her brothers Troy Allen Whatley, and Pat Smith, her sister Rebecca Gail Moser, and her beloved son Michael Harris.
