Cheryll Arnold Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cypress Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park on Jan. 14, 2026.
Cheryll Ann Arnold, born June 6, 1945, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 5, 2026.

Cheryll was a woman known for her deep kindness and unwavering willingness to help others. She was the kind of person who would drop everything to be there for anyone in need, offering support, compassion, and understanding without hesitation.

She grew up in Miami, Florida, where her strong spirit and generous heart first took shape. Throughout her life, she faced challenges, yet she continued forward with resilience and grace. Her journey eventually led her to San Francisco, where she lived for nearly 20 years near her brother, a time that brought her comfort and stability.

Before Alzheimer's and dementia changed her life, Cheryll found great joy in simple pleasures-going out to eat and watching movies were among her favorite things. She loved sharing those moments with family and friends, enjoying good food, good stories, and good company.

Dementia and Alzheimer's came swiftly and powerfully, leading to a rapid five-year decline. Despite this, Cheryll remained surrounded by love. She passed gently in her sleep.

She is survived by her son, Michial Pilgreen; grandchildren, Alayna Carter Pilgreen, and Collin Lucas; her daughter, Shy Pilgreen; and grandson, Phoenix Watson; her brother, Michial Arnold; and nieces Lauren and Haley Arnold.

Cheryll will be remembered for her selflessness, her generous heart, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Rest in Peace, We love you and know that you will be looking down on us from heaven and you will remain in our hearts forever and always.
