Mr. Ben, 74, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Baptist Jackson. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and enjoyed watching his grandkids play ball, fishing, hunting, and
Spending time at the casino.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gempson Ben and Mamie Bell Comby; other family, Viola and Whitman Johnson.
Survivors include daughters, Alicia Wheeler, Doris Ben, Melinda D. Ben; sisters, Carolyn Gibson, Mary Comby, Martha Comby; brother, James Ray Johnson; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
Pallbearers are Skylar Ben, Tony Steve, Andrew Sockey, Miguel Triplett, Derek Charlie, Sidney Billie. Honorary pallbearers are Kyler Jefferson, Dale Wheeler, Denzel Mingo.
