Chester Lee Miller Sr was born May 07, 1947 to the late Wilford Sr and Arwilda Miller.

 

Preceding him in death were both his parents 5 siblings and with 1 living Brother Maurice Miler.

 

Chester graduated from Dunbar Vocational High School where he had a passion for drafting and basketball. He committed his life to Christ at an early age. Chester joined the air-force where he served and fought for his country and was ranked to sergeant.

 

Chester Lee Miller Sr. united in holy matrimony to Mary Jane Miller, who preceded him in death after 59 years of marriage, Chester and Mary was blessed with 6 beautiful children their first born son Chester lee Miller Jr. who preceded in death, Tajuania Miller, Anita Miller- Winton (Tony), Adrienne Simon (Micheal), Nina Miller, their youngest baby boy Paul Miller.

 

Chester loved his family to get together and play the blues and have BBQS' he loved playing cards and he didn't like anyone mistreating anybody. Chester took pride in whatever he did as long as his family was okay, whatever he had to do he made sure he took care of his family. Chester was a floor tech and a union steward worker, he worked in many hospitals and schools. When he worked he wanted everything perfect.

 

Chester got his wings and was called home on Jan 27, 2025, His wife Mary Miller preceded him in death, he leaves behind Tajuania Miller, Anita Miller- Winton, Adrienne Simon, Nina Miller and Paul Miller, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren with family and friends. Chester Legacy will live through his children and grandchildren, Chester will be missed.
