Chestine Emanuel-Rodriguez Obituary
Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Chestine was a cherished member of the community and touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Though faced with special needs challenges, Chestine was full of life, love, compassion, and the will and courage to meet life's unexpected challenges. She found joy in listening to music and talking to friends and family on the phone - God knows she knew everyone's phone number by heart!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleophus and Gladys Hendrix and sister, Denise Emanuel. Chestine leaves to cherish precious memories her devoted and loving husband, Ivan Rodriguez of 32 years; her heart and soul son, Angle Rodriguez; sister, Sibyl Emanuel; two brothers, Masceo Emanuel and Cleophus Hendrix III; sister-in-law, Shelly Hendrix all of Trenton; special friend and confidant, Alyson (thank you for your care and love); four aunts, Helen Ford of Dillon, SC and Annie Ruth Emanuel, Margarette Ross, and Bessie Mae Emanuel all of Trenton NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

When I first met Chestine she was in a crib and I was her babysitter. She immediately accepted me and I her. She was friendly, kind and even joking at a young age. Her laughter was infectious and she always greeted me with love and affection. The world has lost a beautiful soul but heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Rest in peace Chestine. Your cousin Frances as you affectionately called me.
