81 of Ft. Thomas passed away peacefully at home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years George Sarakatsannis, her parents Jessie Lamb and Elizabeth Pritchard, her brother James Lamb and sisters Mary Kroger and Phyllis Rogg.
Marie was a loving mother who was dedicated to her family, she is survived by her three children, Missy (David) LaBare, Maria (Dennis) Hinkel, and Andrew Sarakatsannis, YiaYia to 6 grandchildren Morgan Herald, Alexandra Sweeney, Amanda Sarakatsannis, Nicholas Warden, Maxwell Levine, and Blake Levine, 8 great grandchildren and sister Brenda Carpenter.
Marie loved her family and will be missed by all of them. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
She retired from working at the Dixie Chili corporate office in Newport after 28 years as the Executive Support Specialist.
Private services were held and her burial took place in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224 or to St. Elizabeth Hospice 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, Kentucky 41017.
