Dearest Susie and Family,
I cannot begin to tell you how sorry we are and how we are mourning with you all. I am George's mom. Chris and George were best friends since elementary school all the way through FMHS and beyond. They played sports together in school. George would tell us what a standout athlete Chris was especially in baseball. His athletic talent in baseball at FMHS garnered him notice for recruitment by several colleges like Gonzaga Univ. I cannot begin to count the number of times Chris slept over our house through the years -- a very dear, polite, and quiet kid. Two of our family's fondest memories of Chris is 1) --- during FMHS Graduation Day in June 2009 outside the UNT Auditorium. Chris is in so many of our graduation day photos with George and Brad wearing the Hawaiian flowers. The boys were so happy to have reached this milestone and were smiling big in all our photos. You are even in one of our photos with Chris standing next to George. The other big memory I have of Chris is on George's last day home before he moved off to Lubbock to start freshman year at Texas Tech. It was late August 2009 and Chris was at our house the whole day and accompanied us to all the stores for some last minute dorm needs for George. He, George and I were the last shoppers checking out at Target with new towels and school supplies. We closed the store down-- the very last customers to leave. I remember in the car, apologizing to Chris for keeping him out so late running all these mundane chores and he politely replied it's o.k. because he was spending time with his good friend George on his last day in Flower Mound and wanted to spend as much time as he could with him before the semester started. He was so helpful and loyal. What a great kid. He was with us the entire day from noon until midnight being so helpful with all the shopping and packing up. What a great friend he was to George. We are here for you all & may the Lord rest his soul in peace! -Gianitsos Family
