He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and great uncle. Chris was one of a kind; he did what made him happy. He grew up in and around Nashville. You could always find him at one of his favorite fishing holes, Stones River or Mills Creek where he was trying to empty the river of the fish. After a long day of fishing, you would find him sitting at the table with a big glass of milk. Chris is preceded in death by his father Nolan Barnett, his Mother Lois Barnett, his sisters Teresa Turner, Sam Barnett, Debbie Winchester and his son Nolan Barnett. Chris is survived by his wife Diana Barnett, his sons Joseph Barnett and Donald (Amber) Boyd, his brothers James Barnett and Jeremy (Lisa) Barnett and his sister-in law Betty (David) Yates. He is also survived by his nieces Mandy Harper, Denise Barnett, Stephanie Barnett (Jessica Artman), and April Brown (Mark Ferriss), along with his great nieces Kamryn, Madisyn, Aubree, Katlyn, Courtney, Danielle and several great nephews. He knew how to make us laugh and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life September 30, 2023 at Laguardo 7680 Hwy 109 N Lebanon TN 37087 at 1pm.
