Obituary
Christopher "Chris" Pierce Curtis, age 34, was called to his heavenly home on March 27th, 2023.
A Celebration of Chris's Life will be Wednesday, March 29, 2023, 1:00 pm in The Venue at Pinelake Church. Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Parkway Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Curtis, Zack Ponder, Ty Palmer, Royce Ponder, Kinz Parkman, and Parker Ware.
He was a member of Pinelake Church. Above all, Chris' favorite title was Dad. He enjoyed spending time with his son, Bryant, watching movies, going to the beach, and shared a love for electronics. Chris was a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School. He was an avid Ole Miss fan, lover of all dogs, as well as multiple genres of music. Chris shared a passion for classic cars with his family and enjoyed attending Cruising the Coast each year.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe Wooten and Dianne Wilson.
Survivors include his son, Bryant Curtis; parents, Deniece and David Ponder, and Jimmy and Karen Curtis; brothers, Keith Curtis and Zack Ponder; grandparents, Jerry and Jane Curtis, and Sybil Ponder. Chris was also close to his extended family which includes his special Aunt Lisa Parkman, nieces and nephews.
As a family, we rejoice knowing that Chris is completely healed and no longer bound to the restrictions of his earthly body.
