Chris Greene

EDGEMOOR, SC – Christopher Gordon Greene, 42, of Fort Lawn, SC, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
Chris was born on December 17, 1979, to David Greene and Donna Greene Robinson of Fort Lawn. He graduated from Lewisville High School and USC Lancaster with a degree in Business. Chris was a Customer Service Senior Manager at Nutramax Laboratories where he had worked for 9 years.
He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Fort Lawn, South Carolina, where he was an integral part of the worship and sound ministry.
Chris was an avid fisherman, often enjoying days on the water with his son, Braeden. He also dedicated many hours to his music. Chris was a talented guitarist and vocalist performing with Flashback, Crossfire, and many other bands through the years. He often deejayed for events, sharing his love of music with others. Chris loved to keep family and friends laughing with jokes and impressions at every opportunity. His talent, humor, and lighthearted spirit will be missed by many.
Chris is survived by his wife, Amy Carruth Greene; his children Braeden and Emmelynn Fite; his mother, Donna Greene Robinson and stepfather, Ray Robinson; his uncles Roger (Silva) Greene and Kenny (Dot) Greene; cousin Carl Belk and numerous other cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, David Greene; grandparents, Ernest and Anniebelle Greene, and Eugene and Gladys Edwards; and his uncle, Allen Greene.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22 at 3:30 pm at Neely's Creek ARP Church, 974 Neely's Creek Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730. Visitation will be followed by a worship service honoring Chris's life at 5:00 pm in the church's Family Life Center.
