Chris James Obituary
Funeral Service for Chris James, of Mansura will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 beginning at 11:00 am in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Mansura with Reverend Darrell Sampson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. James, age 67, passed away in Point Coupee parish on February 18, 2026. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Crystal Joshua and Cagney Ogunleti; brothers, Flemon James, Jr., and Dale James; and a sister, Ivory Mae James. Grandchildren, Damarian Lacart, Jase Larcart, Noah Joshua, Alivia Davis, and Nasir Lacart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Flemon James, Sr. and Ola Prier James; siblings, Russell James, Samuel James, Michael James, Freddie James and Veronica Marie Jones.
Visitation will be held on, Saturday, February 28, 2026 beginning at 8:00 am until 11:00 am in the New Jerusalem Church in Mansura.
