Chris Milam, 48, of Clayton went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 23, 2025 following an automobile accident.
Born August 6, 1977 in Hinton he was a son of Donald Eugene Milan and wife Julie of Clayton and Linda Gill Burns of Clayton.
Chris was a former farmhand who enjoyed hunting rocks, exploring caves, fishing and crafts.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Ray Milam and maternal grandparents, Morgan and Lillie Gill.
Besides his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Raymond and Nicholas Milam of Culpepper, VA; one sister, Kim Milam and partner Jordan; paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Milam; nephew, Drake Milam and uncle, Dwayne Milam.
A memorial service was held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Clayton Baptist Church with Pastor Grant Petitt officiating. Interment followed in the Clayton Baptist Church Cemetery.
