Chris Sandoval

Chris Sandoval, 57, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on February 22, 2026.

Chris was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Carrisa Hart (Richard Hart); Melissa Pinon (Salomon Pinon); and Sarah Sandoval. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Nora Pinon and Charlotte Hart, who brought immense joy to his life.

Chris is survived by his parents, Mel Sandoval Sr. and Leona Sandoval; his sisters, Melinda Selle (Jim Selle), and Angela Falk (Darrell Falk); as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Ronda Sandoval, the mother of his children and someone he continued to care for deeply. Though their marriage ended, their love and commitment to their family never did.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mel Sandoval Jr., and his grandparents.

Chris worked in the oil and gas industry, a field he was deeply passionate about. He took great pride in his work and in the dedication it required. Chris loved music and off-roading, but what truly set him apart was his heart. He deeply cared for others and had a special love for animals. He was free-spirited, compassionate, and truly loved life.

Above all, Chris cherished time spent with his daughters, granddaughters, and parents. His family was his greatest joy and the center of his world.

A private service will be held for the family.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him.
