Warner Robins, GA – Stephen Christopher Swain, 52, started his walk with Christ by getting saved and baptized on Thursday, July 11, 2024, eight hours later his calling would be his testimony to show the mercy of God. God made sure Chris would walk for eternity with his Lord and Savior as he went home to be with the Him on Friday, July 12, 2024, in Newnan, GA with his wife Kellie by his side. Services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory with Reverends Wade Dawson and Pat Chastain officiating. The viewing for family and friends will be held one hour prior and immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
Chris was born on February 11, 1972, in Warner Robins, GA to the late John and Brenda (Smith) Swain. He was very skilled and hardworking for all his life, a trait that his father instilled in him. Chris enjoyed drag racing, shooting pool, throwing darts, but his greatest passion was hunting. He was a kind, soft spoken, and giving person, who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his stepson, Blake Duckworth.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Kellie (Dawson) Swain of Warner Robins, GA; daughters: Gracie and Dillen Swain both of Atlanta, GA; stepdaughter: Makenzie Duckworth of Greenville, SC; granddaughter: Baylee Duckworth of Warner Robins, GA; brother: Richie Swain of Warner Robins, GA.
With honor, Burpee – Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
