Chrisee Weston

It's our greatest loss to announce the passing of Chrisee Weston, age 60 years old, deceased on July 4th, 2025, at Methodist Hospital. Chrisee was born December 19th, 1964, in Des Moines, Iowa to her mother Shelia Weston (deceased) and Father Tyrone Weston Sr. (deceased). Her sibling is Tyrone Weston Jr.

Chrisee graduated from East High School. She has two children from Des Moines. Her children are Steven Willis and DeVondre Williams. Chrisee was a hardworking individual in multiple career fields before becoming disabled. She always maintained a strong work ethic at all times.

Chrisee was a deeply caring, passionate, and incredibly thoughtful person. She had a creative and artistic soul, always direct and to the point, with no pretenses. She always gave a sense of reasoning and gave great insight into anything you asked of her. Chrisee's greatest passions were crafting art, uplifting those around her, embracing music, and being a steadfast pillar of love and support for her three grandchildren. Chrisee always made sure her grandchildren had whatever they needed and spoiled them with unconditional love. Chrisee also was an angel for her parents in their final days. She helped take care of her mother and father and ensured they were loved before they passed.

Some of her favorite musicians were Prince, Michael Jackson, and Rick James. She was the biggest fan of Prince. Chrisee loved creating art like painting, drawing, sewing, creating party ideas, clothes, etc. She loved to cook and master various different types of meals. No task was too big for Chrisee.

Chrisee was a unique and extraordinary mother, daughter, sister, relative, and friend. She was committed to her family at all times. If she loved you then she made sure to let you know it. Chrisee is survived by her son Steven Willis (Tamara Willis) and her son DeVondre Williams. Her granddaughter Dia Williams, her granddaughter DeVonni Williams, and her grandson Ezra Willis. Her brother Tyrone Weston Jr. She's also survived by her many loving relatives. Chrisee prayed to The Most High God everyday for her family and her friends' wellbeing. As a believer she'll rise again, and we'll see her again.

Family and friends are welcome to the Merle Hay Funeral Home from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM for visitation and 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM for the funeral service on July 19th, 2025, to respect and honor the legacy of Chrisee Weston.
