Christian Davis Obituary
Born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 22, 1978. He will be remembered as "el alma de la fiesta". He was full of life, charisma, charm, action-packed leadership, smarts, and magnanimous to his family and friends. Christian graduated from Northridge Preparatory School, Niles, IL, in 1996 where he served as senior class president.
Christian co-founded Trifecta Transport, a highly successful trucking brokerage company. Under his leadership and with the assistance of his business partner, the company prospered. Christian, his cousins and closest friends, established the non-profit Home Connection Charity, which gave people the opportunity to make and send care packages to American military overseas. For these efforts, Christian received the Outstanding Young People of Illinois Award in 2018 from the Illinois Jaycees.
Christian enjoyed hunting with his cousins, Martin and Brian Halwix, and close friends in the North Woods. He also loved pheasant hunting with his dog Booker. Summers always found him on a wave runner, on water skis or as the captain of his prized Barletta pontoon boat. As part of his big-hearted hospitality, he would gift his family and guests unforgettable grilled masterpieces. Christian, also known as "Z Cuban", fully embraced his Cuban heritage.
Beloved son of Louis and Gladys (Saavedra) Davis, former husband of Elizabeth (Oakdale) Davis, loving father of Carter and Gabriel, fond brother of Claire, Carolyne (Joseph) Schoen, Daniel (Ashley) Davis, Mark, and Philip (Maureen) Davis. Uncle of eighteen nieces and nephews. Christian is preceded in death by his grandparents, P. Joseph and Ann Davis and Carlos and Maria Cecilia Saavedra. A debt of gratitude is owed to Brian Tobin (Davis) for his steadfastness and loyalty to his uncle, Christian.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Elmhurst Community Funeral Home - THE AHLGRIM CHAPEL, 567 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 46 N. Wolf Road, Northlake, Illinois 60164. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations for the education of Christian's sons, Carter and Gabriel, would be deeply appreciated. They may be sent via Zelle to [email protected].
