Christian Hufnagle Obituary

CHRISTIAN RICHARD HUFNAGLE Christian Richard Hufnagle, age 21, of International Falls, MN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 29, 2025, as a result of a skiing accident. Christian loved Jesus and people. He enjoyed lending a hand to anyone who needed it and served in the sound booth at Littlefork Baptist Church. He was employed as a Plumbers Apprentice at Shannon's Plumbing and Heating. Christian lived life to the fullest, enjoying many hobbies. He was a gifted pianist, playing by ear and flooding our home with melodies. Customizing Classic vehicles to suit his personality was a passion of his. He loved skiing at Giant's Ridge and on Rainy Lake, having saunas at the cabin, hunting for the big bucks, and playing anything from volleyball and football to classic board games. The rings and jewelry he made out of coins are an example of his creativity, and selling them under his King of the Rings business when he was just a teenager with friend Joel was quite an accomplishment. He was our resident "expert" on anything that interested him, or us. Christian was a deep thinker on matters of faith and life, and he was always eager to discuss these important matters with others. Because of the magnetic personality that God gifted him with, Christian touched the lives of countless people. Preceding Christian in death was his Grandpa, Victor Richard Hufnagle, whom he was named after. Christian will be dearly missed by his parents Aaron and Kristy, sister Kaylin (Jon) Lagergren, brother Jacob (Hannah) Hufnagle, sister Erika (Tristan) Toth, sister Chloe Hufnagle (fiance Isaac Johnson), brother Luke Hufnagle, nieces Malin and Elia Toth, nephew Micah Lagergren, Grandma Janet Hufnagle, Grandparents Daniel and Karen Ganter, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. John 11:25, "Jesus said, 'I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.'" Christian would want nothing more than to have his life and death draw others to salvation found in Jesus Christ. A celebration of a life well lived will be at 3:00 on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in International Falls. A family visitation will be held Friday from 5:00-7:00 at the same location. The interment will be on his birthday, April 28th, 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Big Falls at 11:00 a.m. Memorials can be given to Storybook Lodge Christian Camp, one of Christian's favorite places, where he was a camper as a youth, and later a volunteer counselor as an adult. He did it his way freedom adheard to none other than God and his love for God and Our Savior Jesus Christ. Prayers and all my love to both of you and your family.
