Fr. Christian taught at SERRA Catholic High in Salem, Oregon when I was in high school there. I remember him as the eiptomy of kindness, compassion and good humor. His Franciscan spirituality was intertwined with his humanness like a seamless garment...wearing his wetsuit unterneath his Franciscan habit says it all! Thank you Fr. Christian. You always inspired me.

Fr Chris was a friend and teacher at my highschool in Salem, or in the late 50,s. He was always an insperation and and friend to all of us at Serra Catholic High School. One of the very great ones has gone home to God.

I live in Massachusetts and after reading Father Mondor's obituary I would like to express my sincere and deepest sympathy to his family and all who knew and loved him. Just reading about Father made me feel blessed. I'm sure our Lord's gates opened in beautiful song welcoming this wonderful priest. Oh how we need more and more of his caliber and love. Peace and prayers be with each and everyone.

May the God of all peace bring comfort to the Mondor family and friends at this difficult time.
