Christina Breeden Obituary Christina Lynn Breeden of
Warsaw, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the age of 56.
She was born on March 31, 1969, in Redlands, California to Merle Grace (Sullivan) Halfacre Bean and her father Clark Halfacre. She grew up in a very large family whom she loved dearly. Christina also proudly served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
Christina was married on August 31, 1999, to Brian Scott Breeden. They were blessed with three children and becoming grandparents during their 26 years of marriage together before she passed away.
When asked to describe their mom, her daughter, Miya lovingly replied the following… "Where do I even begin? My Mom was our rock, the glue that held us all together. When my mom's mother passed, her sister Lori referred to their mom as the "Matriarch" of the family, and I couldn't have said it better myself. Because that's what she was, just like her mother.
She was never afraid to speak her mind, and anyone that knew her KNEW that. She would have carried the weight of the world on her shoulders if it meant lightening your burden. She had the biggest heart, especially for animals. Not a single stray went hungry when my mom was around.
She adored her two grandchildren, and I would choose her in every life as their "Nana". There wasn't a single thing under the sun she wouldn't do for her children and husband. My mom would drop whatever she was doing and come running. We will never forget the sacrifices she made for our family and those she loved. We will continue what she started and keep her memory alive, because that's what keeps us going…Family. We love you, fly high with the butterflies Mom!"
Christina will forever be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She leaves behind her husband, Brian Scott Breeden (
Warsaw, IN); two sons, Austin Breeden and Mason (Paxton) Breeden (both of
Warsaw, IN); and her daughter, Miya Breeden and her partner, Brycan Himes (
Warsaw, IN). Also surviving are her beloved two grandchildren, Jade and Jensen Himes; five sisters, Lori (Jeff) Conley; Mary (James) Marsillett; Melody (Mitch) Shaffer; Lea Ann (Rick) Richardson; Rose (Charles) Cotton; and four brothers, Steve (Vicki) Halfacre; Tim (Debbie) Halfacre; Jimmy (Tina) Bean; Kenny Wayne Bean; and her mother-in-law, Sharon Swartz.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Merle, father, Clark, brother, Terry Halfacre, sister, Cherita Halfacre, her stepsister, Laura Hale….and we can't forget about her favorite dog Sebastian.
