Knoxville, Tennessee, a community rich in love and kinship, bids farewell to one of its brightest young souls, Christina Joann Chandler. Christina journey on this earth came to a peaceful close on April 04, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and a profound love for all people.
Born on November 19, 1995, in Harriman TN, to Christina Bondaug and Gregory Chandler, Christina was a beacon of joy from her earliest days. Growing up alongside her older Sisters, Tanisha Clemons, and Gennifer Chandler, she embraced life with a vibrant spirit that touched everyone she met.
Christina was given a few nick names during her journey thought life. Some know her as Bones due to her size as a child others called her Tongue because she always had it hanging out of her mouth. She will be remembered for her kind heart and bright smile; Christina had the unique ability to light up any room she entered.
Christina will now be reunited in death with Grandparents Joanna and Jesse Chandler, Mike Roddy, Joseph Cox with Uncles Roy Chandler, and Jamie Rogers.
Sadly, Christina leaves behind a heartbroken yet grateful family: her loving son Kayden Turpeinen loving parents, Christina Bondaug, Gregory Chandler, and Stepmother Missy (Cal) Chandler loving Grandmother Patricia Mallory and her protective Sisters Tanisha Clemons and Gennifer Chandler. Loving nephews Anthony Page, Kortlan Chandler, Zae Dixson, loving niece Maleyiah Wynn with a long list of uncle’s aunties and cousins.
Christina also leaves behind a fiancée Yvanna Andujar stepbrother Josh Smith and stepsister Alex Myers. With a host of extended family members and friends who were blessed to know her.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 11:30 am -12:30 pm at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood, TN. Funeral service will follow at 12:30. Graveside and interment service will follow at Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Evans Mortuary.
Christina Joann Chandler memory will forever be a guiding light in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love, compassion, and joy will continue to inspire all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Christina. Your spirit lives on in the countless lives you've touched.
