Christina Mavis Hefty

As a glorious God alone could orchestrate, I had the wonderful experience of knowing Anne at EOU and was able to meet her folks in 1991. They were both so nice and accommodating. May the entire family know God's matchless grace, mercy and peace, both now, and always...........Matthew 11:28 30.

I'm so sorry to read about Chris!! She was my social studies teacher at Judson when I was in 7th grade. I have been sending Christmas cards to her every year since. I sent one last year and this year and never got them back so I had no idea that she passed away. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. She was a very special person!!

Mrs Hefty was my favorite teacher and is fondly remembered to this day! She was a very caring lady who encouraged this shy kid with her cheerful and positive attitude. My condolences to her family!

Christina Hefty was long time member of the American Association of University Women(AAUW). She joined AAUW in July 1, 1952.
The Salem Branch of AAUW will miss her.

Mrs. Hefty was as advertised--kind, understanding, always willing to help others. My memories of her as a Jr. High teacher are a bit dim these days, but those are the impressions she left. She has left a positive mark on the Salem community. Rest in Peace.
