Christina Sullivan Kellis

On the night of February 25, 2026, our mama, Christina, left this earth for her heavenly home. Earlier that same day, her first great-granddaughter was born. She had been waiting for that moment, and in a way only Mama could, she made it - a final, quiet act of determination that reflected the life she lived.

Christina's life was not simple. She endured significant trauma throughout her life, yet remained marked by unyielding resilience. Her story, like all of ours, held both light and shadow.

We praise God that the final word over her life is not struggle, but grace.

The gospel has never been about perfection or earning heaven. It has always been about accepting Christ. Christina loved the Lord, and we rest in the promise that her eternity is secured not by a flawless record, but by a faithful Savior (Romans 5:8).

Christina was the wife of 25 years to Michael Kellis. She was the mother of Daniel Kellis (Leslie), April Black (Adrian), Christopher Lea, Michael Phillip Kellis II, and George McFalls II. She was a proud Meemaw to five grandchildren - Alaina, Angela, Jonas, Adrian II, Tucker, and Riley - and a great-grandmother to Ezra and Evangeline.

She is survived by her parents, Don and Jean Sullivan; her sisters, Michelle Coats (James) and Donna Price (Chip); and Janet Maness and the late Eugene Maness, who loved her deeply.

She has reunited in heaven with the grandparents who went before her, her granddaughter Genesis "Alaina" Love, her best friend Kathy Tart, and her beloved Gerald.

A celebration of life will be held in the coming days. Those who wish to attend may contact the family for additional information.
