Christina Lopez Obituary
Born on January 22, 1950, Christina brought joy and warmth into the world from the very beginning. Throughout her life, she found great joy in spending time with family, indulging visits to the casinos, and sharing special moments of Bingo and Loteria with her loved ones. Her kind heart and vibrant spirit touched the lives of those around her. Christina was preceded in death by her dear parents Santiago and Leonora Hernandez, her loving husband Margarito U. Lopez Jr., her son Margarito H. Lopez III, her sisters Leonora H. Molina and Maria Elena Ochoa, as well as her brother-in-laws Savino Casarez and Henry Molina. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew them.
She is survived by her children Gabriel Lopez, Clara (Todd) Tondre, and Celia Lopez; her caring brothers Santiago (Gloria) Hernandez and Urbano (Linda) Hernandez; her devoted sister Lupe Casarez; her brother-in-law Raymond Ochoa; her grandchildren Summer, Kelly, Raven Lopez, Sahaila Toscano, Gabriel Lopez Jr. (Rachee), and Albert Tondre; as well as her great-grandchildren Lainey Sofia, Octavia Morgan, and Artemis Kira Lopez.
The services to honor and celebrate Christina's life will take place at South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels in San Antonio. A visitation will be held on June 9, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM followed by a Rosary at 6:30 PM. Additional visitation will occur on June 10th starting at 9:00 AM with a procession to follow for a Funeral Mass at Mission Concepción at 12:00 PM. Interment at San Jose Cemetery on June 10th at approximately 1:30 PM.
Christina H Lopez will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace knowing she was cherished by many.
