Christina Mendibles Obituary
The beloved Christina Lynn Saldana Mendibles died on September 24th, 2023. She was born on April 2nd, 1981 to Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Saldana Sr. in Bridgeton, NJ.
She welcomed and raised her four children, whom she adored, with Robert Mendibles of Vineland and is predeceased by her only son, Jake Jelani Mendibles; who passed on December 11th, 2021. She is survived by her daughters, Madalyn Mae, Jesenia, and Leilani Mendibles; grandchildren, Autumn Maelynn and Grace Alizè; parents, Linda and Nelson Sr.; maternal grandmother, Sue Jenkins; and paternal grandmother, Anna Figueroa; and siblings, Nelson Jr., Cassandra, and Cierra Saldana.
Her cooking encompassed generations of love, from her great grandmother Edna Mae, to her mother-in-law Sylvia, to her own mom. She beautified the world as a cosmetologist, from her family to her clients. She was cunning, strong, and intentionally left her mark on this world. She is loved beyond words. It is only right that she is finally at rest with her son.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by a service from 11:00am to 12:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland NJ 08361. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Centerton Freewill Baptist, 110 Dealtown Rd, Elmer, NJ 08318. All are welcome to a repass held at The Eagles Club on Cohansey Street in Bridgeton starting at 2:30 pm.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. I remember a phone call I had it was before I went to high school it was all of the things not to do and I did everything you told me not to do. It was funny but at the same time I asked myself where did I go wrong and I looked at the list and it was the opposite. Cuzzo you tried to guide me even by doing my hair sometimes. When I was older you made a house call with grandma Ana, you did our hair but during the process nani bear grabbed my Christmas tree and walked off with it (funny was not the word) when that happen the look on your face was priceless. I love you so much and every memory from church when we were younger to now is worth its weight in gold.
