So sorry for the loss of Chris. She was a force! Long ago I asked her to bake for the bake sale at Trinity. She responded with, "No. I´m on strike. I refuse to bake anything until my husband replaces the oven in my kitchen." When I inquired how long she had been on strike she said, "It´s been about a year and a half..." I believe they did LOTS of take out back then...and The Cupboard did very well that year! May she rest in eternal peace and I thank her for the many times she made me laugh!
