Christina "Lynette" Warnars, 78 of
Sarasota, FL left our lives just as she would have scripted ~ quietly and with compassion for everyone she loved.
Born in Wayne, MI to John Woloszyn and Mary Barrows (deceased), Lynette showed her competitive prowess at an early age, owning Grandpa's ~ 'gan-gaggys' lap to her younger cousin, Coleen. Lynette was a wonderful daughter to Betty most of all.
Lynette will be immensely missed by her family, Coleen (Jerry) Mansfield, their daughter Melissa (Mike) Thompson, their son, Michael (Nikki) Mansfield and nine grandchildren. Joanne (Jim) Hoffman, their daughters Sarah (Joe) Kennedy and Andrea (John) Hammer and two grandchildren.
Lifelong and forever friend to Signi Larson, and cherished Aunt to her daughters, Sierra Larson and Lola Larson, she remains an angel in their hearts.
Blessed by the love and friendship of Cheryl (Rance) Norris, and Kathy, who provided Lynette with the strength, courage and inspiration to live each day to the fullest.
Lynette graduated from Walsh College with a BA in 1985 and a Master of Science and Management in 1994. Such an incredibly proud moment! Lynette went on to lead a successful career in banking as a Mortgage Loan Officer, winning friends every step of the way. Of her many talents, golf stands at the top ~ with her majestic swing, Lynette could bomb it off the tee and curl it perfectly into the cup. She loved entertaining, fine dining, dancing and of course she was always our favorite chef. A great storyteller with the kindest and bravest heart, Lynette was adored by all who knew her.
During her enlightening and accomplished journey, Lynette adopted her 2nd family. She was a bright, calm light at dawn, reminding us of blue skies and rainbows. With deep devotion, Lynette's imprint on our lives will remain deeply missed by Margaret Kneebone, her three children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Endlessly passionate, Lynette celebrated every moment! She was the disco queen, euchre champ, hostess extraordinaire, first mate, second mate, our every mate…this was her special. 18 holes with Lynette was truly a treasure. Wildly talented in the kitchen ~ exquisite cuisine, elegantly presented, she taught us the joy of cooking Missy's way – a touch of salt, heavily lathered in love.
We hear the music, we see you dancing the night away, grateful for every moment to say 'thank-you'! Love you forever our Missy, Lionette, Mom, Auntie, Cousin, Friend, Brunette, and Blond Bomber. And so much more… rest in peace CLW, until we meet again.
A private prayer, blessing and celebration of her life will be held at Sarasota Memorial Park, where she will rest eternally with her beloved Mother, Betty.
