Christine Anderson Obituary

Christine "Chris" M. Anderson, 76, of Fairfax, VA, passed away peacefully at home on November 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born May 3, 1949, she graduated magna cum laude from Roanoke College and was a proud Phi Mu member. Chris taught Kindergarten before dedicating her life to raising her four children: Michael Anderson (Carrie), Jennifer McWhirter (Jeff), Stacey Anderson, and Scott Anderson.
She was an active member of the Fairfax City community, serving for many years with the Westmore Elementary PTA. Chris cherished summers in Rehoboth Beach and loved time with her five grandchildren Mackenzie, Christian, Tatum, Sawyer, and Hailey.
Chris was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine McAllan; her father, James McAllan; and her father's wife, Linda McAllan. She is survived by her loving partner of 25 years, Frank Campbell, and their Shih Tzu, Riley.
She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and devotion to family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, at 11 a.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a reception at 2941 Restaurant at 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Schar Cancer Institute in memory of Christine M. Anderson.
