Christine Barzano, 54, a lifelong resident of Dover, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Dover, NJ to Robert and Kathleen Minahan. She was a Dover High School graduate class of 1989 and went on to pursue an Associate's Degree from Morris County College, in Early Childhood Development. She worked at KinderCare of Denville for 10 years and was a teacher and administrator for the school.
She was married to the love of her life, Raymond Barzano for 30 years and has one son, Joseph. She dedicated her life to her husband, son, grandson, family and students. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, educator, care giver, a survivor, and sometimes a force to be reckoned with! She loved being an educator and would go above and beyond for her students. She had the biggest heart and was a gentle soul who welcomed anyone into her home. Her generosity and kindness to family and friends was unmatched.
Christine is survived by her husband, Raymond Barzano, her son Joseph, and grandson Harlen. She leaves behind her parents, Kathleen and Robert Minahan, her sister Colleen and her husband Thomas Hunter and son Christopher; her sister Meghan and her husband Brad Haskins and their two children Margot and Jason; and is predeceased by her brother Jason Minahan. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law Jimmy Barzano and his wife Vicki and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, between 2:00-5:00PM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 4:30PM, located at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph. Interment is private.
