Christine Marie (Schnorf) Devine was born on March 11, 1957 and passed away on January 2, 2026 after an extended illness.
She lived her whole life in West Seattle, graduating from West Seattle High School in 1975. She was the youngest of 3 girls and was the life of the party, always ready with a good joke or story to share. She worked her whole life and was fortunate to have two long term jobs that were located in West Seattle.
She married the love of her life, Donald G. Devine in 1990 and they had 34 wonderful years together, until his passing in March of 2022. They traveled to Mexico several times, and Hawaii, but their favorite destination was always Reno. They were the perfect couple and despite the age difference, were in sync with one another their whole life together. They had two wonderful dogs, and would have loved to have another, but when she lived alone knew it would be too difficult to take care of. She moved in with her sister Maurine in November when her health started to decline and even when she didn't feel good they tried to plan outings she could do.
The world will be so empty without this most wonderful woman, and the family will mourn her forever, but are comforted to know she has been reunited with her loved ones in Heaven.
Christine is survived by her sister, Ernestine Schnorf, sister Maurine McKenzie, her nephew Clint McKenzie, his wife Cheryl, niece Allison McKenzie, first cousin Carol Fisher, and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life will be held in the next couple of months.
