Christine Emison Obituary
Christine married M. Hershel "Blacky" Emison in 1963 and shared 45 loving years of marriage before his passing in 2008. Together they shared many hobbies including their love of travel, gardening and photography. Christine loved to read and was an avid painter of outdoor scenery.
Christine is survived by her close friends and caregivers, Lauran and Everett Wilson of Painted Post, NY and her dog, Max.
There will be no public services. Christine will be laid to rest beside her husband in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery, Painted Post. Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with Christine's care.

So sorry to read this news about Mrs. Emison. She and Mr. Emison were dear family friends and shared many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with us. Mr. Emison always brought my mom an orchid he had grown in his greenhouse. Mr. Emison had been my dad's first boss at CGW in Charleroi, PA. Mrs. Emison and my mom shared their Polish heritage as well.
