After a prolonged illness Christine Franssen of Concord, Michigan has joined her heavenly family with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 8, 2025. Christine was born November 24, 1970, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Carol and Linda (Tuttle) Franssen Sr.

Christine is survived by her sons Steven Dresch and Daniel Henley, parents, brother Carol Jr (Cindy Sue) Franssen, sisters Cyndi (Dan) Wiggins, Jennifer Franssen, Susan (Brian) Welch, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Christine was intelligent, kind, funny, and lived life to the fullest. She cherished her family and friends whether new or lifelong. She spent most of her career as a special education teacher and loved all her students very much.

Christine was preceded in death by her sister Patricia (Patty) Sue Franssen, all of her grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Lauer Family Funeral Home in Concord. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Church in Concord on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 1:30 PM with Fr. Timothy Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Concord.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to organizations serving veterans or the Concord community are suggested.
