Christine Gaffney Obituary

Visit the Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home website to view the full obituary.
In loving memory of Christine Gaffney, fondly known to many as Gramma Chris, who gracefully departed this world on December 24th, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.   Born on May 7, 1936, to Edward and Denige (Labrague) Collins, Christine's enduring spirit touched the lives of many. Her legacy lives on through her devoted children: Brenda DeJarnette, Beth Gaffney, and Gregory Gaffney, as well as a tapestry of grand and great-grandchildren. While she has bid farewell to her children Kevin Butt and Robert Butt, her beloved husband Henry Richard Gaffney and long-time partner George Greiner, Christine's impact remains etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind.    As we reflect on her life, let us celebrate the profound love, strength, and resilience that defined Christine Gaffney's journey. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who were touched by her presence.   Family and friends will celebrate Christine's life with visiting hours on Friday, December 29th from 10am until 12pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
