Christine Grace Hillhouse
Christine Grace Hillhouse, age 36, born on March 3, 1989, in Jackson, Mississippi, ascended peacefully to eternal rest October 15, 2025 in Baldwyn, Mississippi. Throughout her life, Christine exhibited an unwavering love for her children and family, whom she cherished above all else. Her vibrant spirit and infectious smile could light up even the darkest rooms, a quality that remained with her even in her later years while residing in a nursing home.
Christine shared a special bond with her twin sister, Cassie Mae Hillhouse, who fondly recalled how Christine took charge from their very beginnings, being born as the first of the twins. Their close-knit relationship was a source of joy and humor, filled with cherished memories that highlighted the unique connection only twins can share. Christine often reminded Cassie of being "baby A," a playful reminder of being first even in their early days together.
Christine was not just a devoted family member, but also a woman with many passions. She relished the soothing activity of crocheting blankets, creating warmth and comfort for those she loved. Her affinity for television was marked by a particular love for criminal shows, with "Blue Bloods" standing out as her favorite. Adventures were always on her agenda, as she loved to travel, proudly declaring herself the designated driver on family outings.
The light of her life also included her beloved puppy, Cash, who was more than a pet; he was her best friend. Christine’s journey through life was marked by resilience, as she faced a long battle with illness that ultimately defined her last years. She fought valiantly, displaying a strength that inspired those around her.
Christine is survived by her father, Cecil Jefferson Hillhouse (Sandra) of Forest, and her children, Serena Jones and Dean Craft. She leaves behind six siblings: twin sister Cassie Mae Hillhouse of Morton, Cecelia Hillhouse of Mozelle, Megan Hillhouse of Morton, Ashley Bounds of Forest, Shawn Bounds of Forest, and Amy Griffith of Texas, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold her memory dear.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Dean Jones Parkman; her biological father, James Parkman; and her beloved grandmothers, Opelia Hillhouse and Doris Jones; along with her grandfather, Floyd Parkman, Jr. (Willie Mae).
Christine Grace Hillhouse will be remembered for her loving spirit, indomitable will, and the warmth she brought to the lives of everyone she encountered. Her legacy of love and joy continues to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
