Christine (Romano) Hardy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband of 7 years, Kevin Hardy of Stoneham along with her closest family and friends, on Friday December 9, 2022. She was 49 years of age.
Christine was born on April 24, 1973 in Malden to her parents Charlotte (Mandracchia) Romano of Malden and Edward Romano of Orlando, Florida. She is loved deeply by her only brother, Joseph Romano and his wife Chanelle and is an adoring aunt to her nephews Roman, Charlie, Joseph Jr., and Milo all of Wilmington. She is the daughter in law to Francis and Yvonne Hardy of Stoneham. She is a loyal and loving step other to Kevin's three children, Shane Hardy of Stoneham, Shannon Hardy of West Hollywood, CA and Nicholette Hardy of Salem NH. We can't forget Leo, her pet cat and companion, who held a special bond with her. She loved and spoiled Leo every day. She was also loved by her two sisters in law, Christine Nolan of Portsmouth, RI and Carolyn Sapochetti of Saugus. She cherished her niece and nephews Anthony Sapochetti Jr., of Saugus and Sarah, Peter, Michael, and Matthew Nolan of Portsmouth, RI. She is also survived by many loving and supporting cousins.
Christine was a graduate of Malden HS and graduated from North Adams State College with a bachelors degree. Chris was a licensed real estate agent for over 20 years, with many of those years as a relocation specialist.
Her life long love was found when she met her husband Kevin over 10 years ago. They shared a special bond of love, loyalty and friendship. Her beauty, smile, laugh, and energy was always the spark that lit up the room. She was outgoing and passionate and always thinking of others. Chris loved life. She enjoyed traveling, backyard cookouts with her besties, family fun events, date nights, weekend trips to Plymouth and vacations in the Dominican.
Chris was so grateful to the outpouring of love and support she received throughout her battle. She is our "HERO" and is now our "Angel". We know she is still loving and watching over us all and forever in our hearts as she is now in God's hands.

Christine, you were one of a kind. There´s plenty of people that have one special characteristic or trait, but you had many. You were loving, funny and had an infectious love for life that made everyone´s day better who surrounded you. You are very special, and you will always hold a special place in my heart. Love you forever and always. Kevin, beyond words for what you are thinking right now. As you know, me, Carolyn & Tony are here for you every step of the way. I love you so much and look to our relationship growing through this- it´s what Chris would have always wanted.

I was so saddened by this news of Christine passing. Shocked actually. During Covid, Christine worked out with me a couple times a week at our girls outdoor classes. We shared many laughs and fun times together in our fitness world. I am so sorry Kevin. My heart goes out to you
