Christine Jacobs

Christine Jacobs, 69, of East Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Christine dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her professional and personal life. She worked for many years as an LPN with Peace, Inc., where her compassion and dedication touched countless lives. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Christine served her country honorably during Operation Desert Storm as a Sergeant First Class with the 276th Combat Support Hospital. Her strength, courage, and sense of duty were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Christine's faith was central to her life. A devoted Christian, she shared her love of God through her work as an evangelist, spreading kindness, hope, and encouragement to everyone she met. Above all, Christine was a devoted wife, mother, and sister whose love and guidance will continue to live on in the hearts of her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Lynn Recore and Mabel (Martin) Recore; and brother, Marty Recore.
Christine is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, David Jacobs; son, Brian M. (Becky) Jacobs; grandson, Brant; step granddaughters, Hailey, Shannon, and Autumn Hall; siblings, Lynn (Mary) Recore, Jr., Pauline M. D'Eredita, Thomas E. Recore, Peter A. Recore, Frank H. (Bonnie) Recore; uncle, Frank Martin; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 18th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at FARONE & SON Inc Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse. A funeral service to honor Christine's life will immediately follow at 12 p.m., Christine will then be laid to rest in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.
