Christine was a 1966 graduate of Northport High School, and she worked at Hope House on Long Island. Christine had over 30 years of sobriety and she was a drug and alcohol counselor. She attended Christ Episcopal Church in Milton. She enjoyed her flower garden, and she liked to watch birds. Christine loved all animals and nature. She cared for every animal when she could. Most importantly, Christine loved her grandson and enjoyed all of her time with her family.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Gatto and wife, Maria of Milton; a grandson, Louis Gatto; and two brothers, Steve Cazsasor of New York, and Paul Speer and wife, Karen of New York.
Services will be held at the family's convenience
