Christine Overturf Obituary
Christine was a fighter at an early age. She contracted Polio in 1954 and when the doctor told her she would be placed in an iron lung, she knew she didnt want that and she fought to make sure she didnt. She was told she would never have children and yet she had a son and daughter. She was raised that only your mind gives you limitations not your illness. She taught her children that no matter what life throws at you, you can overcome anything. She fought a good fight until the bitter end.
Her tenacity and stubbornness along with her faith in GOD, the church, and kindness was reflected in her daily life. Anyone who knew Christine laid witness to all of these features. The world lost a wonderful person but heaven gained an angel that watches over all that she loved. When you see a rose, a sunrise, or a sunset think of her and that wonderful smile because she is there for us.
