Christine Simonian, of Westwood, MA passed away at age 75 on July 10, 2025 after complications following a bad fall. She was predeceased by her parents, Genevieve Simonian and Richard Simonian, Sr. of Worcester, MA.
Christine worked her entire career in healthcare at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. She graduated from Harvard University Night School with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. At work she was known as outgoing, caring and committed. She had a contagious laugh which softened her strong opinions on everything but especially health care.
She loved music and art and watching old movies. She had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed listening to classical music and opera. Halloween was her favorite holiday. She perfected her own scary imitation of a witch's laugh.
Her memory lives on through her brother Dick Simonian, Jr., his wife Maureen and daughter Marika. She also leaves behind her cousin Mark Caren and his wife Monica and three children, McCala Walters and her husband Matt; Alex and Mackenna Caren; her cousin Betsy Wadington and her husband David Smith and cousin Priscilla Caren and nieces Heather Caren and Stacey Turner and her husband Drew.
Christine left behind dear friends Linda Lapham and her brother Joe Lapham who helped and cared for her in the many months after her fall. Gormley Funeral Home in West Roxbury. MA is handling arrangements.
There will be a private celebration of life for Christine in the near future.
