Christine Smithee

Born: March 14, 1947 | Died: August 22, 2025

Christine Smithee age 78 of Maryville passed away Friday, August 22, 2025. She was active in the church choir at Our Lady of Fatima. Christine got her bachelor's degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She married Larry G. Smithee in 1981. She is preceded in death by husband, Larry Smithee; sister, Catherine Wallace and brother-in-law Samuel Grant. Survivors include sister, Patricia Grant; nephews, Christopher Grant (Georgiana) and David Grant (Tori Kelly); four great nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to: Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation, 233 Currie Avenue, Maryville, TN 37803 or Haven House, 118 Defoe Circle, Maryville, TN 37804. Family will receive friends at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 4 2025 with a celebration of life to follow at Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
