Christine “Tina” Ann Itter (Castillo)
Passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side early Sunday, February 19, 2023.Tina was born December 30, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan, and experienced 64 years of beautiful memories during this lifetime.
Tina was preceded in death by her father, David Maldonado; her Mother, Wilma Rebecca (Patterson) Castillo; her daughter Angelica Christine Itter, as well as her sister Alberta “Betty” Villarreal and her brother Salvadore “Sam” Castillo.
Tina is survived by her love and life partner, a husband of 46 years, Steven Harold Itter, her son Shawn Steven Itter, her daughter Alisha Ann Duduman (Dominique), her son Nathaniel David Itter, and her daughter Melody Dawn Itter as well her grandchildren David Calvin Duduman, Carder Matthew Morandi, and Hannah Rose Duduman.
Her siblings surviving are David (Linda) Patterson, MaryAnn (Lloyd) Clark, Virginia “Sue” Escareno, and sister-in-law Joni Castillo. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Tina had a passionate heart for service and giving to others. Throughout her lifetime, she worked numerous years as a nursing assistant to the elderly; her pride and joy in life were her children and grandchildren and her Morkie, Sophie. She loved to decorate and had a natural gift for beauty with her interior designs. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord Jesus Christ and taught her children what it was to be a strong woman of God with prayer, fasting, and spending time reading the word. She enjoyed getting opportunities to travel with her family to explore new areas and witness firsthand many beautiful sights that would leave her in awe of God's beauty that she had always dreamt of. Her hobbies included spending time with her family and gardening in the summertime. She loved opportunities to go horseback riding and taking care of her animals and enjoyed cooking meals for her family and watching countless hours of suspense movies and reality television shows.
A funeral service will occur at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Saginaw Valley United Pentecostal Church in Birch Run, Michigan. Reverend Dorris Murdock will officiate. A showing will occur the day prior at W.L Case and Company in Bridgeport, Michigan, on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
Friends are invited and welcome to come and visit with the family during the showing in Bridgeport from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday or during a light breakfast reception Friday at Saginaw Valley United Pentecostal from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to a memorial c/o Nathaniel Itter. Please share your thoughts and memories with the family at the funeral home or through www.casefuneralhome.com
