Christine E. Zagwyn

Christine E. Zagwyn (Lane), 62, of Ayer, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at Emerson Hospital in Concord, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Concord, Christine was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Lane. She was a graduate of Maynard High School, Class of 1981. In June of 1987, she married David Zagwyn, and together they shared 38 wonderful years of marriage.
Christine worked for over 20 years at NorthStar in Acton, MA, as a Quality Control Inspector before continuing her career at Bristol Myers Squibb in Devens as a Project Manager. She later joined NB Kenney in Devens, where she finished her career with dedication and pride.
Christine enjoyed spending sunny days at the beach, relaxing in the sun, and creating lasting memories with her family and friends. She had a deep affection for all animals, especially her beloved dog, Button, who brought her endless joy.
Christine is survived by her husband, David Zagwyn Sr. of Ayer; her two sons, David Zagwyn Jr. and his wife Megan of Wilmington, MA, and Alexander James Zagwyn and his partner Devin of Ayer, MA. She is also survived by her siblings, Theresa Pierce, Elizabeth Morreale, Matthew Lane, and Catherine Coulter; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Elizabeth Lane, and two siblings, Paul Lane Jr. and Maurice Lane.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Avenue (RT111), Acton, MA. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th, at 10:00 AM at Saint Bridget's Cemetery, 254 Great Road (RT117), Maynard, MA.
Christine dedicated her life to her family and friends. Her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
