Chris was such a special soul. His heart and empathy for the less fortunate knew no bounds. Chris was far from a billionaire but he would have given the shirt off his back to a person in need. He would have also been the first person in the crowd to protect a vulnerable individual who was in danger or being bullied. These are human qualities that can´t be taught. Many people live their entire lives neither achieving this level of actualization nor the true understanding of what it means to be a human.
Chris was an artist and saw the world as a canvas that he could improve upon. And improve the world HE DID.
I´ve written only two other Legacy entries in my life and this will be the third. Chris and I would have very long engaging conversations about life and civic duty. We did this quite frequently from 2011 through 2014. I learned so much about compassion and the importance of art from Chris. The World lost a huge chunk of its value with Chris´s untimely passing. I wish I could have hugged him one last time and told him the things I´m writing here.
