Christopher Bartelsmeyer Obituary
Chris served in the US Army and was stationed at Ft. Eustis VA. At the time of his passing, Chris was employed at Albemarle Tug Company and was in the Army Reserves.
Chris was a loving and caring husband, father, son and friend. He leaves behind his wife, Kelly; his son, Ian; nephew, David; mother, Marianne Crane (Steve); father, John Bartelsmeyer (Cindy); sister, Amy Peterson (Ben), niece and nephews, Gabe, Kaleb and Kalea as well as numerous friends from his Army family and Elks family.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity or animal shelter.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Elks Lodge No. 315, 13813-A Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, VA 23602. Please wear casual attire.

Chris was a year older than my daughter. He was a nice, energetic man when I knew him. Usually always had a smile. Our thoughts and prayers go out all of his family.
