I am so thankful that I have gotten to know you. Your friendship brings me such joy. I won't pretend to know how you feel or suggest you feel a certain way. For some reason, you were brought to me on the right day, at the right time. Much like the same way Chris went to be home with his heavenly father on the right day, at the right time. Keep his memories close to your heart, they will get you through the tough times ahead.

I'm sad by the passing of Chris, who was my mom's best friend, but he's in a better place and is no longer suffering. I have know Chris just about all my life and will carry the memories with me always. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
