Christopher Eugene Davis, age 44, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in Westville, Indiana. He was born on January 23, 1980 to George Forrest of Illinois and Kimberly Davis Galbraith and her husband Terry of Seymour, Indiana. He was a Christian by faith. Christopher enjoyed skate boarding and was a big hearted man that loved life and the outdoors. He was fiercely protective of his family and everyone that knew him, loved him. He loved his brother dearly that he saved from drowning.
He is survived by his parents, one brother, Jason Davis and his life partner Dorsie Hutchison of Seymour, Indiana. Two sisters, Georgianna Forrest of Illinois and Krystal Forrest of Illinois. Two cousins, Greg Davis of Seymour, Indiana and Justin Davis and his wife Abbey of Freetown, Indiana. Maternal grandfather, Larry Davis of Seymour, Indiana and one aunt, Peggy Davis of Seymour, Indiana. Numerous cousins and friends,
He was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Kay Davis, maternal grandmother, Roberta Kay Davis, step paternal grandmother, Barbara Sue Blewitt and his second cousin, Jaron Davis.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home - Seymour Chapel. Visitation will resume on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
