Christopher Flores, 38, unexpectedly passed away in his home on March 20, 2025.

He was a cherished husband to his wife, Renee Flores, for 16 years -although they were together for more than 20. Christopher was a devoted father, whose proudest accomplishments were his children. Every moment spent with family brought him immeasurable joy, a testament to the loving person he was.

Christopher possessed a unique ability to make others feel loved. His sense of humor and radiant smile had a way of lightening the heaviest of hearts. Whether he was camping with family, enjoying a quiet day of fishing, or playing games with his wife bringing laughter and competition, his presence was a source of comfort and happiness.

Even though Christopher was a homebody, his support for the Chiefs (and occasionally the Cowboys football team- just to give his mom a hard time) showcased his spirited nature. Those closest to Christopher knew that he could cook just about anything, transforming meals into moments of connection and celebration. Christopher also enjoyed watching scary movies and listening to music, music that often filled his home, creating a soundtrack for the love and laughter he shared with those closest to him.

Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Renee, and his 4 children, Eleena, and Aries, Nadia, and Ignacio Flores. He is also survived by his mother, Gina (Pineda) Flores, father, Doug Llamas, father-in-law, Mark Pineda, sister, Maria Flores-Ramos, grandparents, Julian and Theresa Flores, 2 nieces, and 1 nephew.

Christopher is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Flores-Ramos, and his godson, Marcus Flores-Ramos.

A visitation will take place to remember Christopher's life at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home- Midtown Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66604, on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 from 1:00-2:00PM. Rosary will begin at 2:00PM, with funeral services to follow beginning at 2:30PM.
