With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christopher James Flores, 24, of Simi Valley, CA, on May 17, 2025.
A funeral service will be held at Rose Family Funeral Home on May 31, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Kirk Dewitt officiating. Following the memorial, a Celebration of Life will take place at the family’s home. The address to be provided at the end of the service. Rose Family Home is entrusted with handling the funeral arrangements.
Born on April 22, 2001, in Simi Valley, Christopher was a quiet soul who kept to himself but truly loved those close to him. He graduated from Moorpark High School in 2019 and followed his passion for animals, working as a Dog Trainer for over 6 years. Dogs were more than a passion—they were his purpose—and he poured his heart into fulfilling his dream of training them.
Christopher is survived by his loving mother Tracy, brother Trevor, grandparents Didi, Myra, and Roberto, his uncle’s James, Roger, Jesse, aunt Karla, and cousins Alexis, Sabrina, Bella, Andrew, and Evie. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Roger Brough. Christopher’s love and presence will always be remembered by the many lives he touched.
The family is grateful for all the love and support they have received and welcomes both donations and flowers to honor Christopher’s memory. Memorial donations can be made via Venmo at https://venmo.com/u/JkGodinez-5
